Day 1. Welcome to Tbilisi
Your Georgian adventure begins! Upon arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred comfortably to your hotel.
After check-in, take some time to relax and settle in after your journey. The rest of the day is at leisure - perfect for unwinding or taking a first stroll through the charming streets of Tbilisi and soaking up the unique atmosphere of Georgia’s vibrant capital.
Day 2. Tbilisi - Kakheti Wine Region - Bodbe - Sighnaghi - Tbilisi
After breakfast, set off on a fascinating journey to Kakheti, Georgia’s renowned wine region and one of the country’s most picturesque destinations. Surrounded by vineyards, fertile valleys and the majestic Caucasus Mountains, Kakheti is the perfect place to experience Georgia’s rich culinary and winemaking traditions.
Our first stop will be a traditional family wine cellar, where you will discover the secrets of Georgian winemaking and enjoy a complimentary wine tasting. Georgia has one of the world’s oldest winemaking traditions, and Kakheti is at its heart. The region is famous for wines such as Kindzmarauli, Mukuzani, Akhasheni and Teliani, many of which take their names from the places where they are produced. You will also have the opportunity to taste traditional Georgian chacha and learn more about local customs and hospitality.
Next, enjoy a hands-on Georgian bread-making masterclass, where you will learn how traditional Georgian bread is prepared and baked. This experience offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with the country’s culinary heritage and enjoy freshly baked bread.
Continue to the Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino, one of Georgia’s most important pilgrimage sites. Originally founded in the 9th century, the monastery is associated with St. Nino, the Cappadocian woman who played a key role in the Christianization of Georgia in the 4th century. Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Alazani Valley and the snow-capped Caucasus Mountains, Bodbe is a place of both spiritual significance and breathtaking beauty.
The journey continues to Sighnaghi, the “City of Love”, one of the most charming towns in Kakheti. With its cobblestone streets, colorful balconies and panoramic views over the Alazani Valley, Sighnaghi has a unique romantic atmosphere. The town was developed in the 18th century during the reign of King Erekle II, who strengthened its famous defensive walls and towers.
After exploring the town, enjoy a traditional Georgian dinner accompanied by a cooking workshop. Discover how to prepare some of Georgia’s beloved dishes and experience the flavors of authentic local cuisine. You will also have the chance to taste traditional Georgian sweets, including churchkhela and pelamushi, both made with grape juice.
In the evening, return to Tbilisi.

Day 3. Tbilisi - Zhinvali - Ananuri - Gudauri - Kazbegi - Tbilisi
After breakfast, your mountain adventure begins with an early morning departure from the hotel at approximately 8:00-8:30 AM. Travel north along the historic Georgian Military Highway, a spectacular route winding through the dramatic landscapes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. For centuries, this road has served as an important connection between Georgia and the North Caucasus, offering some of the most breathtaking scenery in the country.
Our first stop will be the Zhinvali Reservoir, a stunning turquoise lake surrounded by lush green mountains. Created by a hydroelectric dam on the Aragvi River, the reservoir blends beautifully into the natural landscape and provides a perfect opportunity for memorable photographs.
Continue to Ananuri Fortress, a remarkable medieval complex overlooking the Zhinvali Reservoir. Once the stronghold of the Dukes of Aragvi, the fortress dates back to the 13th century and features historic churches, defensive towers and beautifully preserved architectural details. Its picturesque setting makes Ananuri one of the most impressive landmarks along the Georgian Military Highway.
The journey continues into the high Caucasus to Gudauri, Georgia’s famous mountain resort located at an altitude of around 2,200 meters. Depending on the season, you can admire the snow-covered slopes or enjoy the dramatic mountain scenery surrounding the resort.
Along the way, stop at the iconic Russia-Georgia Friendship Monument, also known as the Monument of the Treaty of Georgievsk. Built in 1983, the monument stands dramatically above the Devil’s Valley and offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Caucasus Mountains. Inside, a colorful mosaic depicting scenes from Georgian history stretches around the entire circular structure.
Finally, arrive in Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), one of Georgia’s most spectacular mountain destinations. From here, travel up to the famous Gergeti Trinity Church, dramatically perched at an altitude of approximately 2,170 meters beneath the majestic Mount Kazbek. Dating back to the 14th century, this iconic Georgian Orthodox church is surrounded by breathtaking alpine landscapes and offers unforgettable views across the valley and mountains.
Take time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and spectacular scenery before beginning the journey back to Tbilisi.

Day 4: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Jvari - Tbilisi (half day)
Breakfast.
Starts at 10:00 AM. Old Town Mtskheta is a place of great archeological importance today, and remains the modern headquarters of the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church.
We will visit:
Mtskheta - is one of oldest cities of Georgia near Tbilisi. Mtskheta was capital of the early Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century.
Jvari Monastery - is a Georgian Orthodox monastery of the 6th century near Mtskheta (World Heritage site). The name is translated as the Monastery of Cross. The great church represents the peak of the architectural typology. It is a true architectural masterpiece of the early Medieval period overlooking the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers from the top of the hill.
Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - was built in the 11th century, although the site itself is even older, dating back to the early 4th century. The cathedral is the second largest church building in Georgia and is listed as a UNSECO World Heritage Site along with other historical monuments of Mtskheta.
Free time till overnight in Tbilisi
Day 5: Final Day. Departure from Tbilisi
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and enjoy your final moments in Tbilisi.
At the scheduled time, you will be transferred comfortably to Tbilisi International Airport for your departure.
