About the Lake:

High-altitude tectonic lake with cold waters, fed by underground springs, rainfall, and meltwater.

Freezes for about 4.5 months in winter; swimming is not common.

Part of local tourist routes and ideal for mountain fishing.

Trout – thrives in clean mountain waters.

Grayling – prized sport fish.

Common char – occasionally present.

Carp and white amur – found in some artificially stocked areas.
