Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi
Welcome to Georgia!
Upon arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, you will meet your Travel Bee guide and receive a private transfer to your hotel.
Take the rest of the day to relax and prepare for your upcoming mountain adventure.

Day 2: Tbilisi - Ananuri Fortress - Jinvali Reservoir - Gudauri - Kazbegi

Today we leave Tbilisi and travel north along the spectacular Georgian Military Highway toward the Greater Caucasus Mountains.
Ananuri Fortress & Jinvali Reservoir
Our first stop is Ananuri Fortress, a historic complex that once served as the residence of the Aragvi Dukes.
The fortress includes medieval churches, defensive towers and stone walls dating mainly from the 16th and 17th centuries. It is beautifully located above the turquoise waters of Jinvali Reservoir, offering excellent opportunities for photographs.
We then continue toward Gudauri through some of the most scenic mountain landscapes in Georgia.
Gudauri Friendship Monument
In Gudauri, we stop at the famous Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument, dramatically positioned above the Aragvi Valley.
Enjoy panoramic mountain views and take photographs before continuing our journey to Kazbegi.
Lunch: Around 1:00–2:00 PM, we can stop at a local restaurant in Mleta.

Hiking to Gergeti Trinity Church
Continue to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), one of the most spectacular mountain destinations in Georgia.
From Kazbegi, we begin our hike toward the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, situated at approximately 2,170 meters above sea level.
The trail offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Caucasus Mountains and Mount Kazbek, one of the most famous peaks in Georgia.
The Gergeti hike is one of the highlights of our Kazbegi tours and a perfect introduction to Georgia's mountain scenery.
Hiking distance: approximately 8 km
Overnight: Kazbegi
Day 3: Kazbegi - Juta - Chaukhebi - Borjomi
Hiking distance: approximately 10 km
After breakfast, we drive through the beautiful Sno Valley to the remote mountain village of Juta, located at approximately 2,165 meters above sea level.
Juta is known for its traditional way of life, dramatic mountain scenery and peaceful atmosphere. Surrounded by the Greater Caucasus, it is one of the most beautiful hiking destinations in the Kazbegi region.
Hiking to Chaukhebi
From Juta, we start our hike toward the impressive Chaukhebi Mountains.
The trail passes through alpine meadows, wild mountain landscapes and spectacular valleys. We reach an altitude of approximately 2,550 meters, with magnificent views of the Chaukhebi massif, whose highest peak rises to around 3,842 meters.
After enjoying the scenery and taking photographs, we return to Juta along the same route.
Hiking distance: approximately 10 km
After the hike, transfer to Borjomi.
Overnight: Borjomi
Day 4: Borjomi - Green Monastery - Borjomi Central Park
Hiking distance: approximately 8 km
Today we explore the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Borjomi, one of Georgia's most famous mountain resorts.
Located at approximately 800 meters above sea level, Borjomi is famous for its mineral water, forested valleys and fresh mountain air.
Green Monastery
Our first stop is the peaceful Green Monastery, a historic medieval monastery hidden among dense forests near Borjomi.
Its secluded location and surrounding nature make it one of the most atmospheric historical sites in the region.
Hiking in Borjomi Central Park
We then visit Borjomi Central Park and enjoy a scenic hike through the beautiful forested gorge.
The park is an excellent place to experience the peaceful nature of Borjomi and taste the famous local mineral water directly from the spring.

Day 5: Borjomi - Enguri Dam - Mestia
Today we leave Borjomi and travel toward the spectacular region of Svaneti, one of the most remote and fascinating areas of Georgia.
Enguri Dam
On the way, we stop at the impressive Enguri Dam, one of the largest hydroelectric structures in the Caucasus.
The dam rises approximately 276 meters above the valley and forms the vast Enguri Reservoir, surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.
Welcome to Svaneti
Continue to Mestia, the cultural and tourism center of Svaneti.
Svaneti is famous for its unique traditions, distinctive mountain culture and medieval defensive towers. The region is often called the “Land of a Thousand Towers.”
These ancient stone towers once played an important defensive role and have become one of the most recognizable symbols of Svaneti.
Overnight: Mestia
Day 6: Mestia - Ushguli - Lamaria Church - Mount Shkhara - Mestia
Hiking distance: approximately 16 km

Today is one of the most exciting days of our Svaneti tour.
After breakfast, we drive from Mestia to Ushguli, a spectacular high-mountain settlement located at approximately 2,200 meters above sea level.
Ushguli is part of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Upper Svaneti region and is famous for its medieval architecture, ancient towers and spectacular mountain setting.
Take a walk through the narrow streets of the village and see traditional Svan houses, towers and historic buildings.
Lamaria Church
Visit the historic Lamaria Church, known for its medieval architecture and traditional wall paintings.
According to local legend, Queen Tamar is associated with this church, and some locals believe that she was buried here.
Hiking Toward Mount Shkhara
From Ushguli, begin the hike toward Mount Shkhara, the highest mountain in Georgia.
The trail follows the valley toward the Shkhara Glacier, offering spectacular views of snow-covered peaks, mountain rivers and the surrounding Caucasus landscape.
This is one of the most memorable experiences included in our Georgia hiking tours.
Hiking distance: approximately 16 km
After the hike, return to Mestia.
Overnight: Mestia
Day 7: Mestia - Koruldi Lakes - Mestia
Hiking distance: approximately 12 km

Today we explore the spectacular Koruldi Lakes, located high in the mountains above Mestia.
A well-equipped 4x4 vehicle will take us from Mestia toward the trailhead.
From the higher elevations, we begin our hike and enjoy incredible panoramic views of Svaneti.
The crystal-clear Koruldi Lakes reflect the surrounding snow-covered Caucasus peaks, creating one of the most impressive landscapes in the region.
The viewpoint offers a unique perspective over Mestia, the surrounding valleys and the dramatic mountain ranges.
This is a perfect day for hiking, photography and experiencing the untouched beauty that makes Svaneti tours so popular.
Hiking distance: approximately 12 km
Return to Mestia after the hike.

Day 8: Mestia - Zugdidi - Dadiani Palace - Tbilisi
Today we leave Svaneti and travel back toward Tbilisi.
On the way, we can stop in Zugdidi to visit the historic Dadiani Palace.
The palace is one of the most important historical landmarks in western Georgia and reflects the European influences that shaped the Dadiani dynasty.
Today, the palace houses a museum with a collection of more than 45,000 historical and cultural artifacts representing different periods of Georgian and European history.
One of the museum's notable exhibits is a death mask traditionally associated with Napoleon Bonaparte.
After visiting the palace, continue the journey to Tbilisi.
