At approximately 08:30, we begin our journey to Stepantsminda.

The drive itself is a beautiful introduction to the Caucasus, with spectacular mountain scenery, deep valleys and winding roads leading toward the heart of the Kazbegi region.

11:00 - Start of the Hike from Stepantsminda

We arrive in Stepantsminda at approximately 11:00 and begin our ascent toward Gergeti Trinity Church.

Gergeti Trinity Church

Gergeti Trinity Church is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Georgia.

After exploring the church and taking in the scenery, we continue toward Gergeti Glacier.

Hike to Gergeti Glacier
