Our private guided tour of Yerevan begins in the heart of the city with one of its most iconic landmarks - the Yerevan Cascade. This impressive open-air architectural complex is also home to the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, whose collection features works by internationally renowned artists, including Fernando Botero, Arshile Gorky, Jennifer Bartlett, Lynn Chadwick and Barry Flanagan.

We will explore the Cascade and make our way to the observation platforms, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views over Yerevan. On a clear day, you may also be lucky enough to see the majestic Mount Ararat on the horizon. You can reach the upper levels by escalator or, for those who prefer a more active experience, by walking up the Cascade.

Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about the history of Yerevan, explain why the city is known as the Pink City, tell you how the Cascade was created and introduce you to the famous café culture that makes this part of the city so special. There will also be plenty of opportunities to take beautiful photographs.

From the Cascade, we continue our Yerevan walking tour toward Theater Square, home to the Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet and the picturesque Swan Lake. Nearby, you will find the monument dedicated to the famous Armenian composer Arno Babajanyan, depicted playing the piano.

Our walk then takes us along Northern Avenue, one of the most popular pedestrian streets in central Yerevan. Surrounded by stylish restaurants, cafés and shops, it is a perfect place to experience the modern atmosphere of the Armenian capital.

The tour continues to the famous Karabala monument, dedicated to one of Yerevan’s beloved historical characters. Known for selling flowers and giving them to couples in love, Karabala has become a charming symbol of the city and its romantic spirit.
